Tooth Attack Force

Ace has a stellar set of 8 teeth and 2 massive molars on pushing in on the octo-tooth party!

He is not happy and barely eating solid foods because of this painful addition to the toothy crew.

I have devised a serious food attack and it is in full force! Squeeze yogurt, smoothies, pediasure, and toast have been big hits so far on the non-chewer. Thinking my days of pureed food were over-HA! I will rethink that one for sure! Pull out the food processor and the baby orajel I'm in for a fun rollercoaster of a weekend! WOOHOO!

Poor little dude is taking his first nap, plum tuckered out from the exhaustion of unhappiness that is teething.

Sometimes Ace really cracks me up!

Today he took cat food from the food dish(no he didn't try to eat it) crawled over to the baby gate, then chucked it down the stairs! I observed him for a little while longer to see if he would do this again... 3 more fun chucks then he tried to spit out his pacifier and have a taste. I quickly swiped it out of his hands! But this kid... Is hilarious!!!!!

A week ago he discovered true love. With the vacuum cleaner. He loves to scream and hollar when I turn it on. Now however it's gotten physical. He has discovered "vacuum rides". He attacks the dyson while I'm vacuuming. I have to be super careful not to hurt his sweet little fingers. He grabs ahold of the front and crawls with it on my backwards pull, then enjoys the ride back scooting backwards along the floor on my forward push! He thinks this is the bees knees!!!!! A few days later it was time to vacuum again & hazah! He remembered the whole game & was on the vacuum lickity split!

I now vacuum in areas where he is not so I can actually clean. When that is over we play a bit!

Hi-fives are his favorite as well. We do highs lows tens and now he claps too! When he heats a crowd cheering he claps. He has on numerous occassions forced me into high giving by grabbing my hand and holding it up! It's not as if I don't want to, since he cannot say "high-five mom". This is how he communicates that he's ready to play.

Dancing is a fun new trick too! He bobs up and down to music, and as of 2 days ago he shakes his head wildly from side to side. He looks totally nuts and soooooo adorable!

This is where all my joy comes from!

Ace's Room is kind of near completion. I have a bit of work to do on it, but the basics are all covered now :)

It is so nice for him to have his own space for all of his things. In the old apartment his stuff was EVERYWHERE! It is especially nice now that he's rolling around and playing with toys that he has some big carpets to lay on and space SPACE SPACE SPACE!

I am wanting to paint & order some Flor Carpet tiles as well as hang up fabric dividers that I have already purchased form IKEA.

Not Shown: Rocking Chair, tiny zebra rug, and the storage area that I guess I'll have to build a wall to black off ?!?

I went for a run with my mom today. I fell asleep 1/4 of the way through it. Running makes me very sleepy.

The First Supper

First Meal: Rice Cereal

Did I like it? No.

Did I make funny faces? Oh yeah.

Did I cry? No.

Have I gotten used to the idea of food yet? No.

Other meals I have tried: Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Carrots. Overall I like mashed potatoes! However I will gobble up green beans if they're a little toasty warm :)

NAP TIME

Food is good & makes me sleepy. The benefit of being a baby is I can sleep whenever I feel like it. For instance I am asleep in my carseat right now! Nevermind that I only recently woke up, I didn't want to stay awake. I gave everyone at Starbucks something to look at this morning I tried to eat a paper bag (unsuccessfully- geeze mom way to let a kid have a good time..!) then I snuggled back into my carseat and WHAMMY! ASLEEP! It's sweet being a baby! Later I'm going to help my Mom pack up the apartment so we can move early tomorrow morning. OH BOY!

Ace is 100 DAYS OLD!

Howdy!

This lil' boy is a world traveler! He spent his 100th day birthday with his Gampy, his Aunt Joyce (great-great aunt joyce) & of course his super awesome mom! It was rainy, but lovely and he was sad to say goodbye to central oregon, but happy to say hello to Oregon City! We dined later that day at Queen of Sheba with his cousin Kevin & Kevin's special lady friend Sally.

Sally said that in some countries babies do not wear diapers and are simply hung over the railing of porches to go to the bathroom. The mothers of these non poo-receptacle wearing babies simply blow on the child's face to make him/her pee. If it is poop they need to accomplish they make a grunty constipated face (accompanied with sound) and viola insta-poop! Sally decided to test this theory at the dinner table... it worked.

What a day!

Today I rolled over from my back to my belly! I was very excited. I have rolled to my side before, but doing this all by myself from back to front was a first!!!! I can't wait to exercise again after my nap!
